Summer isn’t officially over yet! There are great fairs and festivals to enjoy throughout the state while the weather is still great. You and your family can walk down Main Street for a typical street fair, try something more specific like a jazz festival, head to a winery for food trucks and grape stomping or start celebrating apple season with a harvest day. There will be lots of walking, lots of eating (of course) and lots of family memories.
Firemen’s Fair

There will be lots of seafood and chowder at this festival, plus rides, games, mini golf, raffles and of course time well spent with local firemen and first responders.
Car Show and Food Truck Festival

Hudson Valley Hot-Air Balloon Festival

There are 75 planned launches of hot air balloons throughout the weekend during the 31st annual Hudson Valley Hot-Air Balloon Festival. There will be full flights and tethered flights, plus evening hot air balloon illumination moon glows. For the adrenaline junkies, you can also take a helicopter ride. There will be live music, live entertainment, family activities, food trucks and vendors – plus fireworks – every night.
