Peloton on Amazon: Bikes, fitness gear now available at retailer – USA TODAY

You can now buy a Peloton bike on Amazon.
The fitness company, which has seen demand for its exercise gear decline, said it will start selling Peloton equipment, apparel and accessories at Amazon stores in the U.S.
Bike delivery will be available in most of the U.S., Peloton said. Customers can assemble the bikes themselves or have an expert assemble them. Both the delivery and in-home assembly are available at no extra cost. The original Peloton bike is available on Amazon for $1,445, while the Peloton Guide, a strength training device with a built-in camera and movement tracker, sells for $295.
“Expanding our distribution channels through Amazon is a natural extension of our business and an organic way to increase access to our brand,” said Kevin Cornils, Peloton’s Chief Commercial Officer, in a statement.

Before its deal with Amazon, Peloton had only sold its products through its website, global showrooms and other channels.
Peloton saw its sales boom during the pandemic, but it has struggled to maintain high demand as COVID-19 vaccines became more widely available and homebound consumers started to go back to the gym.
