Savanna Rose Studio will be holding classes this summer called Super-Star Summer Dance Blast for four days, July 11-14, for children ages 2 1/2 and up. Register online at for creative dance, ballet, jazz, hip hop, tap, competition and more.
Yoga Studio 225 is on Main Street in Brooklyn. They have everything from chair yoga, gentle yoga, power vinyasa yoga, pilates and high intensity interval training (HIIT) classes. They pride themselves on being a very friendly, nonjudgmental studio and having something for everyone. Yoga classes are $10 (pilates is $15). The Irish Hills Eagles have the following specials coming up: On Wednesday, June 22, they are offering $1 coney dogs for members only, beginning at 11 a.m. On Friday, June 24, they will have taco dinners from 5 to 7 p.m., and the public is welcome. On Tuesday, June 28, they will feature grilled or crispy chicken ranch wraps with chips for $8 beginning at 11 a.m. for members only. They are also holding an all-you-can-eat breakfast from 8 a.m. to noon on Sunday. Adults are $7 and children under 10 are only $3. The public is welcome. 
MST Dance Center is holding Young Choreographers Camp (a two-week camp) from 6 to 8 p.m. June 27-30 and July 11-14 for ages 10 and up. Register at
Join Comfort Keepers for their Day of Joy celebration from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 29 at 125 Irwin St., Brooklyn. The National Day of Joy was created to ensure everyone has at least one day devoted to experiencing and sharing joy. Wristbands are still available for the Irish Hills Lake & Home Tour taking place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 25. There will be seven Irish Hills lakes to tour this year, each guided by a knowledgeable area realtor on a pontoon boat. Go to to purchase your wristband or call the chamber office at 517-592-8907. The Brooklyn Fourth of July Parade Committee is looking for trucks, tractors, kids on bicycles, pets, businesses and all fun things for Brooklyn’s Fourth of July Parade. Line up for the parade is on Irwin Street at 9:30 a.m., and the parade starts at 10 a.m. July 4. Registration is encouraged. For more information, contact Danice McEldowney at 517-414-5438.
