Local residents are invited to attend ‘Yoga with Jamila’ every Tuesday evening for from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.; the first class was on Jan. 4 and they will continue through Feb. 8. Jamila Smith is the City’s new instructor for wellness and healing which includes yoga therapy and other holistic approaches.
Register with the City of Riverbank’s Parks and Recreation Department and for more information call 209-863-7150. The fee is $10 to drop in and take a class. All ages and levels are welcome to relax the mind, body and spirit in the one hour Yoga class held at the Community Center at 3600 Santa Fe St., Riverbank.
